Lizzie is married with three adult children. However, Lizzie has a shady secret. In her teens she had a baby boy, giving him up for adoption. She still remembers him on regular occasions.
Unexpectedly, she receives a letter from the Social Services. Her son, Daniel, wishes to make contact. She is delighted - the problem is she has never told her children about him.
Tangled Lives is a thought-provoking story of convoluted families. It perhaps helps us understand we're not unique, that all families have hidden problems.
Tangled Lives is an enjoyable read containing passion, disappointment and love, told vividly through the central character and her family. A good beach read.
