Shame On You:
After Kennedy finds her husband in bed with the nanny, she abandons all trust in men and opens Fool Me Once Investigations with two friends.

When Kennedy accepts a job to bring in on a bail-jumper, she believes it will be an undemanding task. However, problems have a way of following Kennedy.

Stunning but uninvited, Griffin has always fancied Kennedy. After remaining silent about her ex-husband’s cheating, he is prepared do anything to gain her trust. Whether she acknowledges it or not, Kennedy is going to need help as the bail-jumper job corkscrews out of control.
Shame on You (Fool Me Once, #1)
The macho knocking sessions between the girls is quite humorous. Kennedy is no fragile poppy but there is no repudiating her draw toward Griffin. She attempts to erect as many barriers as she can, to keep him from his inexorable pursuit of her but to no avail.

Shame on You is witty, engrossing and had me smiling. A recommended read.

Surrender:
Rafe is from a large Italian family. Successful, every enterprise he tries turns to instant triumph. However, it all declines when his wife leaves him. His despair eventually makes him hard as nails and he resolves that no one will hoodwink him again. Now, he regards affairs as commercial operations where both participants are reciprocally served.

Ari comes across an advert in the paper for a job that’s too good to be true. She is successful in the interviews only to discover the job is actually for a mistress to the formidable Rafe Palazzo, proprietor of Palazzo Enterprises. She rapidly declines then discovers her mother has deteriorated. Her mother is in hospital because of Ari’s mistake, so she just has to do everything she can. Will working for Rafe rescue her, or will she fall into the netherworld of perdition?
Surrender (Surrender, #1)

Surrender certainly does not guide you on a predictable path; it twists and turns all over the place. Think Fifty Shades of Grey without serious kink… and the romantic sections are also a bit redundant.

The central characters are well constructed and fairly realistic, but the end is rather abrupt.
Not my cup of tea, but don’t let that put you off. Give it a try.

Fractured

When he and Lucy make an alarming discovery inside Sara’s house, and a few of Tristan’s old friends start behaving shiftily, Mason’s aggressive intuitions kick into gear. He protected Lucy once, and he’ll protect her again. However, this time she persists in participating in her own rescue
River Road

Mason and Lucy; a principled man and liberated woman with something of a past. Both are cagey by nature. They make an ideal couple.
If you enjoy a romantic suspense that is easier on the romance front, then this is for you.
River Road is an enjoyable read and makes for a pleasurable change of tempo from hectic sex scenes. If you're searching for something frothy for your next beach read, this could be it.

The Oyster Catcher
The Oyster Catcher is an excellent choice for a chilled-out afternoon with a glass of wine. The plot is not predictable, characterization is good, and that the storyline holds your attention all the way through. It has romance, conjecture, and an interesting story of a woman escaping her past. A good read.
