Kindle Romance: Kissing Under the Mistletoe by Bella Andre

Kindle Romance

Title - Kissing Under the Mistletoe
Author - Bella Andre
Stars - 4

Kissing Under the Mistletoe:
For Mary, Christmas is about family. As she waits for her children and their partners to arrive, she hangs the ornaments that they have each made over the years.

Each decoration brings with it a flood of reminiscences, all of which she cherishes. However, when she comes across the ornament Jack gave on their very first Christmas together, Mary is carried to the opening days of their tumultuous romance, to the love that would become the base on which they created the family she is so honoured to call her own.

Kissing Under The Mistletoe (The Sullivans, #10)

Kissing Under the Mistletoe has everything from harmless kisses under the mistletoe to impassioned vistas on satin sheets. This is a traditional Christmas romance novel that once started you might have trouble putting down.

Ecstasy

Kindle Romance

Author - Bella Andre
Title     - Ecstasy
Stars   - 4

Ecstasy:
Candace, a new author of erotica, is delighted when Charlie, an experienced writer of the genre, consents to be her guide. Neither of them anticipated that Charlie's instructions would corkscrew into sizzling, hands on tuition. Regrettably, Candace's ruse about her new book, where Charlie is the central character, is about to jeopardize their one chance at true love.

Product Details

Ecstasy is an interesting read. The storyline is high-speed, with decent development of the central characters, and a valid plot. Most books in the erotica genre seem to be missing a plot, so it definitely scores well there.

Maybe Ecstasy should have been tagged as erotic romantic not just contemporary romance, but there again these sub-genres are notoriously difficult to nail. The problem is if sexy scenes or explicit detail is not your thing, you need to be aware that Ecstasy contains both.

Overall a decent read.

Can't Help Falling In Love

Kindle Romance

Author - Bella Andre
Title     - Can't Help Falling In Love

Can't Help Falling In Love:
Gabe exposes himself to danger every day as a fire-fighter, and knows better than to risk his heart to fire casualties. However, the brave mother and daughter he saved from a deadly apartment fire are different, and he can't stop thinking about them.

Megan knows she owes the heroic fire-fighter for saving her and her seven-year-old daughter. After losing her pilot husband five years ago, she vowed to never to fall for a man with a dangerous job again.

When unruly flames of passion ignite between them, how can he disregard her determination, and beauty, how can she deny his erotic kisses?

There is so much passion and fire between Gabe and Megan in Can't Help Falling In Love that you might find it hard to put down. The intimacy is prodigious, yet even without, the story rocks.

There are buckets of lust and ardour in this one and as a bonus, if you like fire-fighters you might just fall in love with Gabe.

Can't Help Falling In Love is well written, has good dialogue, and the characters are full of interest - what more could you want.

Never Too Hot

Kindle Romance

Author - Bella Andre
Price   - $7.99
Never Too Hot
Fire-fighter, Connor, has come to rebuild the 100-year-old family cabin, and to be alone. A horrific blaze has left him scarred inside and out and desperate to return to his Hot Shot crew no matter what it takes.

Ginger has been blistered by a different kind of fire. Having just broken from a bad marriage, she’s withdrawn to the lakeside vacation town in upstate New York to start a new life. She’s finished with men, affairs, and with the threat of desire that can seethe out of control… but then she encounters Connor. As the summer on the lake grows longer, they find themselves sharing a cabin and a romance that will summarily consume them.

The suspense in Never Too Hot isn’t as intense as it could be. The main plot is perhaps a little too obvious and has little engagement outside the bedroom. There are also too many sub-plots which, for me, becomes a distraction from the central characters. By the end of the book I felt a little disappointed. I wanted so much more from Conner and Ginger, but was side-tracked by minor characters trying to find their own happy endings.

On the whole Never Too Hot is not a bad book, but not one of Bella Andre’s best works.

Ecstasy

Kindle Romance

Author - Bella Andre
Price   - $0.00

Ecstasy

Candace, a greenhorn at penning erotica, is elated when Charlie, a past master in the genre, agrees to be her guru. However, neither of them anticipates Charlie's instructions escalating from spoken instruction to blistering tuition. Regrettably, Candace's pretext about the new book she's writing, is about to jeopardize their one chance at true love.

The characters of Ecstasy are great. We have two individuals who have practically given up on love because of the fallacies about those who write erotica. Charlie and Candace come across as real people, with all the problems and glitches of real people. They seem warm and likable, just the kind of people you might include in your circle of friends.

Bella Andre's storyline of Ecstasy  is a fresh idea for an erotic novel that is plausible without making sex seemed affected. And the steam... well, that’s another thing! Sex was unaffected and impeccably disposed. The pace of Ecstasy  is varied, action surges and subsides quite naturally, and the twists are just about right.

Ecstasy has a good storyline, and is well written. Bella Andre has produced a good book and I recommend it.
